NaphCare is hiring experienced Dental Assistants - PRN to join our team at the Washoe County Jail located in Reno, NV.

Position Description:

  • Prepare clinic with appropriate instruments and materials for scheduled visits
  • Ensure all dental equipment properly maintained and functioning
  • Coordinate dental services and assist Dentist with patient care, instruments, supplies, documentation and support the function of the dental department
  • Assist in triaging and scheduling of all dental sick call requests
  • Develop all routine radiographs
  • Assist in documentation and maintenance of all patient dental records
  • Mix and fabricate all restorative materials
  • Assist Dentist during treatment by providing instruments, materials, retraction or suction
  • Sterilize and disinfect equipment and tools
