Summary

Our Lidl US Freshness Team is seeking a Demand Planner, who will be responsible for monitoring stock levels in the regional distribution centers and evaluates store orders to ensure availability of fresh produce. The Analyst is responsible for sending orders to vendors and liaising with them regarding delivery requirements. The role requires regular communication with internal departments regarding assortment changes and product availability.

**This position is Hybrid, requiring 3 days in office and 2 days working from home**

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to the relevant buyers
  • Analyze store orders and use the information to place orders with vendors
  • Liaise regularly with buyers regarding assortment and vendor changes
  • Liaise with vendors regarding delivery requests such as arrival schedules and minimum order quantities
  • Create and maintain sales reports for senior management and analyze sales figures to project future volume requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while committing to deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Strong forecasting, organizational, and analytical skills
  • In lieu of a degree, a total number of 4+ years of experience in a related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 1-2 years in a related field with particular focus in demand planning experience
