Gypsy Pig Smoke was started by Greg King. He started their career in the tour industry and now is taking his years from the road, and passion for great food and Heritage Smoke BBQ to GE Health Care providing services for Production and Research and Development. They will also be out doing speciality pop up BBQ throughout the more fair weather days this year.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role will be to help prep for the day’s meals at the GE Healthcare Campus. You will work with the team to ensure everything is ready for the day’s service and help serve. We will need somebody with experience working in a prep kitchen, on the line, and behind the register. This position will do some amount of cashiering and customer interaction, so good customer service and a welcoming demeanor is a must!

Being part of a small team we are looking for someone who is not afraid to learn every position and jump in where needed. We are proud of the work we do and are looking for someone who is reliable and ready to show up everyday.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Handling payment
• Keeping food and items such as sodas, chips, etc stocked
• Tastes all prepared food items.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Assisting with prep work before service
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Dependable
• 1 + years of kitchen experience preferred
• Comfortable working mornings
• Team Player
