The Opportunity:

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. As a database administrator with Oracle and cloud experience, you know how to manage and secure database technology. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting the client. On our team, you’ll develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions, in addition to migrating legacy databases into modern solutions.

You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools like Oracle, AWS Relational Database Service (RDS), or AWS Redshift to identify next-generation solutions for legacy databases and offline processes. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with us as we improve database technology to change the client’s needs for the better.

You Have:

• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Experience in database development
• Experience with AWS Cloud data storage solutions
• Experience with securing databases and administering user access
• Experience with backing up and restoring a database
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• AWS certification
• IAT level II security certification
• Bachelor's degree
• Security+ certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
