Database Administrator Jobs

Type: Full-Time / Direct-hire (Permanent)

Location: Onsite in Northeast Denver, CO - Green Valley Ranch

Salary Range: $90,000-100,000 Annually (actual pay within this range depends on experience)

We are partnered with a leading organization seeking Database Administrator - Report Writer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for SQL Database Administration as your primary focus, plus custom report development with SSRS Report Designer & Report Builder.

Key Requirements:

Manages the creation & maintenance of multiple databases, tablespaces, and indexes

Monitors, tunes, diagnoses, & resolves problems with the databases on a daily basis

Ensures a comprehensive backup and recovery strategy is in place for all databases

Oversees data gathering, queries, & report writing for various projects

Maintains the data warehouse for business reporting

Develop & maintains queries to extract needed information and insert data corrections

Produces technical documentation and conducts data analysis as needed

Assists in establishing and maintaining database standards and procedures

Designs, develops, & tests reports for business operations/applications

Facilitates the establishment of standards and procedures

Implements data security enhancements & makes recommendations for improvement

Installs & deploys new releases and upgrades

Key Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or 4 additional years of relevant experience

3+ years of experience with administering relational database technology

3+ years of report writing experience

Experience with the SQL Server Business Intelligence Suite, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), MS Power BI, Management Reporter, PowerShell

Understanding of coding methods, SQL engine tuning, and SQL best practices and optimization is required

Experience in the development and implementation of SQL scripts to correct or supplement data errors

Advanced Excel skills

Salary Range: $90,000-100,000 Annually (actual pay within this range depends on experience)
