Job Description

Position : MySQL Database Engineer with AWS, Python & DevOps

Location- Austin, TX

Experience – 10+ yrs

Duration : Long Term



Job Details:

  • Python Programming - 2-3 years of exp
  • Understanding of upgrade procedures. Experience in performing MySQL major upgrades
  • Advanced Performance tuning and troubleshooting on linux systems
  • Exposure to MySQL and Percona utilities, performance_schema.
  • Hands on knowledge of MySQL and its storage engines.
  • Working knowledge in Bash, GO and Python
  • Shell Scripting 3-4 years of exp .
  • Deep knowledge in MySQL GTID based replication, group replication and Galera high availability solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast paced patching cycle teams. Has to be knowledgeable in OS and database patching.
  • Experience working with MySQL 5.7 and 8.0
  • Experience working with proxysql and orchestrator
  • Passion to automate any day-to-day activities and document the process/plan.
  • Experience with MySQL monitoring tools like prometheus, Grafana
  • Hands on knowledge in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
