Job Description
IntelliBridge is an award-winning and growing company with an opening for a Data Science Intern. The Intern may be supporting our customer-facing Vice Presidents, back office departments, or research and development efforts.


Responsibilities/Duties


  • Take part in Agile ceremonies, contribute to written user stories, and document details of work accomplished.
  • Support Data Engineering operations by contributing to data pipelines, ETL operations, and/or data quality monitoring
  • Support and perform daily data science and data engineering operations including contributing written code, performing data analysis, and presenting results.
  • Document and version control all work.
  • Support the Data Science, Data Engineering, and Machine Learning teams as needed
  • Support Data Science efforts by utilizing pre-trained ML models for dataset enrichment, train ML-models to drive further insight, and perform statistical analysis as needed


Required Qualifications


  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of data structures, statistics, SQL, and machine learning fundamentals
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Python, Linux
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Relevant experience via data science or data engineering coursework and projects


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Jupyter, Docker, REST APIs, PySpark
  • Pursuing degree
  • Experience with Data Science specific libraries: Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch, Huggingface, FastApi


Location: Office is based in Tysons in McLean, VA. Ability to come to the office preferred but not required.
