Data Entry/Office Clerk

Summary:

Perform data entry by operating a computer keyboard to enter data from Customer Purchase Orders, Blueprints, Operation Sheets, or other forms of communication (i.e. Emails, verbal creating a Sales Order in “Global Shop Business Management Software”.

Reporting to General Manager (GM)

Essential Functions:

• Experience with handling high volume data entry with strong detail
• Calm and collected under pressure.
• Be able and willing to read and write in the English language.
• Vision, corrected to at least 20/40 (Snellen Chart STD)
• Identifies repeat orders and correctly assigns existing process information to the job.
• Thrives in a busy environment.
• Ability to adapt and multi-task.
• Communicate with Customer(s) when “Key” information is missing or unclear.
• Perform basic computer skills.
• Must type 60 WPM.
• When approved by their supervisor, assigns “Standard Routers” to new jobs based on Purchase Order Requirements and submits Routers to approved planning personnel for review prior to moving the job to the production floor other requirements.
• Reliable, efficient, organized.
• Read Customer Purchase Orders (PO) and enters pertinent information into the computer/ system.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able and willing to lift up to 25lbs.
• Demonstrates a “can do” attitude.

Work Week:
Monday thru Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm, (with occasional Saturdays)
