BRIEF ROLE SUMMARY:

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc.is a private, not-for-profit social enterprise providing employment, support, and training opportunities for people who are blind, DeafBlind, and blind with other disabilities. The Lighthouse has provided employment and support to people who are blind in our community since 1918.

Responsibilities

•Accurately input and update data into our database systems, ensuring completeness and correctness

•Perform data verification and validation to maintain the integrity and accuracy of information

•Conduct regular quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies

•Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues and ensure smooth operations

•Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data confidentiality and security

•Assist in generating reports and analyzing data as needed

•Continuously improve data entry processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency

Qualifications

•The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a

•Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory

•High school diploma or equivalent qualification

•Proven experience in data entry or a related field is an advantage, but not mandatory

•Excellent typing speed and accuracy

•Proficient in using spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
