As our Data Center Administrator, you will manage the data center operations for 22+ senior living communities with over 14,000 employees and 22,000 residents. Every day, you will review monitoring tools to ensure our data centers operate efficiently, take action on any issues and review operational metrics. You will be on call and expected to quickly come on-site to manage physical data center incidents, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

To thrive in this job, you must have experience quickly responding to incidents during and outside of business hours, communicating with required parties, and effectively managing incidents to resolution. This role is located in Catonsville, Maryland, requires travel to our Erickson Senior Living Communities, and allows for some virtual work. You should know data center operations, best practices, and how to lead infrastructure installations to excel in this role . You will have opportunities for additional training and development.

We’re looking for a Data Center Administrator with experience…

  • Managing the day-to-day health of core infrastructure facilities, including monitoring system logs, performing system backups and restores, and reporting on system performance
  • Taking full responsibility for resolving issues, driving them to a successful conclusion, and adapting to changing circumstances
  • Managing physical inventory, logistics, and equipment shipments
  • Managing the execution of maintenance activities in partnership with vendors and team members
  • Developing strong partnerships with vendors to manage support contracts and all associated vendor tasks

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience starting at 70000.00 / annually
