We are currently accepting resumes for a Data Analyst position in Fort Wayne, IN.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Obtain, develop and maintain data, databases and data interfaces necessary for forecasting and analysis in a timely and high quality manner. Prepare reports and routine computations on this and other data. Develop new data and reports as necessary.
Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
Accurately and punctually manage all forecasting and other databases using appropriate software and knowledge of data Identify potential data problems and work with other departments and vendors to solve data errors Develop reports and data queries to construct reports Find and develop data necessary to answer business questions Prepare regulatory, management and other reports and requests for information.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as math, business or computer science or equivalent education and/or experience. Significant knowledge of computer systems, programming languages, database systems. Good verbal and written communication and teamwork skills. Able to effectively prioritize workload. Willing to change and takes initiative for improvement in work processes and results. Focused on needs of internal customers. Maintains broad and current knowledge of new client's business and environment.
Required Experience:
1. Well versed in working with APIs, and connecting to system end points
2. Experienced working with large and complex data sets
3. Adept at using Cognos
4. Experienced working with various systems to access company data, to analyze and draw valuable business insights
5. Experience using Alteryx
6. Skilled with using Power BI
7. Directly interacting with customers/end users to understand and interpret their business needs in order to deliver exceptional finished products that solve complex issues, create value and ultimately help drive the organization forward.
8. Expert knowledge of advanced functionality in MS Excel and other Office products
