About PS
PS offers a completely new way to travel on a commercial flight that eliminates the stress and unpredictability of flying in and out of LAX. PS is a private luxury terminal, far removed from the chaos of the surrounding airport and just steps away from the airfield for seamless travel. Choose from a luxurious Private Suite or a shared experience in The Salon, both with unlimited gourmet food and drinks, private TSA and Customs screening and a car service across the airfield to your airplane door. Trade in the traffic and lines of the public terminal for the speed and ease of PS.
The PS business model is the first-of-its-kind in the US. PS has the only public/private partnership with TSA/CBP in the US and the only public/private operation within the global commercial airport landscape. PS currently operates at LAX with ATL opening Summer 2023, DFW in Spring 2024 and MIA in Spring 2025.
About the Role
PS is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The position will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of data across the organization to build a data-driven culture. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our marketing and sales initiatives are effectively implemented, tracked, and reported on. This is a highly visible role with maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal developers and external partners to optimize data collection and support data flows and access across the organization.
  • Leverage data and tools to answer questions and solve problems posed by department heads
  • Establish best practices in gathering, cleaning and organizing customer, sales, marketing and operational data.
  • Create dashboards, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for department heads across the organization.
  • Support the Sales, Member Services and Finance teams in resolving duplicate contacts, billing changes and manual edits for monthly reconciliation
  • Provide deep analysis for specific business problems and report on findings, communicating results to key stakeholders
  • Act as a gatekeeper for our reporting tools and manage report requests from all departments
  • Analyze data to uncover trends and reach meaningful business insights
  • Identify new and emerging technologies, methods, trends and techniques
  • Support the adoption and training of our data products for self-service data discovery and reporting
  • Maintain data set, resolving conflicts and proactively cleaning and optimizing data

Education and Experience
  • Experience analyzing marketing campaigns to measure effectiveness
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills & presentation skills with proven ability to influence & persuade internal and external customers
  • Experience with analytics and research tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, Zoho Analytics, Salesforce
  • Requirements Gathering - specifying the capabilities, features or attributes of a project’s deliverables.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to understand complex systems and business processes
  • Data Visualization - what types of graphs to use, how to scale visualizations, and which charts to use depending on audience
  • Experience in Agile Environment preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience as a data analyst
  • BS/BA degree in related field
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable with writing SQL queries and relational database concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - understand advanced modeling and analytics techniques
