Data Administrator Jobs

Responsibilities:

? Provide technical mentorship and support of team members and engineering partners.

? Deliver new datasets and quantitative capabilities through product, engineering, and governance to enable data consumers to more effectively and efficiently create new and impactful data driven insights for the business to maximize the Guest experience and optimize the business

? Champion consistent and efficient coding practices with the Advanced Analytics and Industrial Engineering teams that enables them to increase productivity and reliability of findings.

? Continuously drive toward efficiency by simplifying and automating where possible, eliminating redundancy across the organization, refining data structures, and building data views as needed to support higher team productivity.

? Develop effective relationships with business partners and peers across segments – including product, project, and engineering teams to better understand data initiatives and capabilities across the company.

? Participate in and lead engineering and data science sprint ceremonies.

? Assure quality and accuracy of deliverables through thorough interaction with product managers and engineers to understand and refine requirements and adhere to privacy, governance, and quantitative standards.

Required Qualifications:

? Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent/related degree.

? 3+ years of business facing experience that includes relationship building with new business partners, project request intake, and presentations. Experience delivering executive level presentations is preferred.

? 6+ years of experience working with Big Data datasets.

? 6+ years of experience with Big Data database technology (Snowflake, etc.), SQL, programming (Python, Java, etc.), and automation technologies with an aptitude to learn other technical applications quickly to compile and interpret quantitative data.

? Proficient knowledge and experience in understanding and addressing scalable computing problems and performing root cause analysis

? Experience in maintaining code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, etc) and documentation of code and data assets including metadata via tools such as Alatian & Confluence

? Experienced and comfortable in Agile work environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc)Preferred

Desired Qualifications:

? Experience directly supporting data science team data and technical needs.

? Experience working with Data Governance, Privacy, and Business Legal governance.

? Experience negotiating data contracts with 3rd party vendors.

? Experience working with digital and mobile data.

? Knowledge of data.
