Job Description
Hybrid Customer Advocacy Representative


Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30 am-8 pm


Pay: $16.50-$17.50/hour


This position is eligible for Work from Home--regular in-office work/attendance is required 3x per week. Candidate must live within one hour's driving distance from the local office in Mascoutah, IL.


  • Internet connection requirements for remote work include speeds exceeding 25 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up (Satellite and/or cellular connection are not sufficient)

You will be entrusted with crafting and delivering the highest caliber of experience to our current and potential customers. In this role you will be the voice of Wisper. Your skill and determination will help us become the company that people write books about.


What You'll Do


  • Connect with our customers using phone, email, chat, SMS, or in-person
  • Rescue customers with basic troubleshooting of their internet connection
  • Assist customers with billing needs including taking payment, explaining bills, etc.
  • Connect potential customers to the right service by determining eligibility, selling packages & scheduling jobs
  • Serve our customers by following Billing, Sales, and Technical procedures with precision
  • Perform other related duties as directed
  • Ensure customers have access to online systems (bill pay, email account, etc)
  • Support the customer through related administrative tasks

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and similar software packages
  • Ability to make customers feel heard and special
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and credibility
  • Inability to settle for "good enough"
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environment & able to prioritize job duties
  • 1+ year customer service experience
  • Insatiable desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone and in writing


Working Conditions


  • Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules & fluctuating priorities
  • Work is performed primarily inside an office at a desk
