This position has a Hybrid Schedule – it allows work from home in the short term, after successful completion of on-site training in Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia area)
Your responsibility will be to provide the highest quality customer service experience to both our external & internal customers by responding to alarm signals in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will assess the needs of our customers in an effort to not only meet but exceed their expectations.
What You'll Do:
- Request response from public safety agencies including dispatch proper authorities (Police/Fire/EMS) per established procedures
- Respond to inbound calls from customers as well assist customers by updating account information
- Document actions in operating software
- Complete shift duties as assigned by Central Station Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor
- Handle customer accounts as a Central Station operator to include - Receive, process and handle alarms signals accurately and in a timely fashion
- Place outbound calls to customers or responsible parties on account contact list and provide accurate information so they can make an informed decision regarding their alarm
- Able to work from home (Vector-provided equipment) without distraction
What You'll Need:
- Excellent Customer Service via phone
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional demeanor in all communications
- At least one-year Customer Service or Call Center experience with good phone, keyboard, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Shift Information – Our overnight shifts run on a two-week rotation and are 12 hours. One week you will work 3 days with at least 2 business days off from 7PM – 7AM. The next week you will work 4 days, with at least 2 business days off from 7PM – 7AM. This allows our team members built-in overtime of 8 hours on week 2. You have days off during the week to attend to personal matters without having to use your paid time off, and a 3-day weekend off every other week.
