Our Customer Service Representatives are responsible for:
- Maintain a high-level knowledge about services provided
- Disseminate accurate information to callers and consistently follows policies and procedures as outlined in the
- Maintain acceptable attendance record according to Attendance Policy
- Proactively participate in performance improvement meetings, activities, and goals; be receptive to performance feedback and continuously seek to improve your own skills
- Maintain confidentiality of medical and personal information in accordance with HIPAA agreements.
- Receive inbound calls and correspondence from customers related to services provided
- Meet or exceed established performance requirements i.e. talk time & number of calls answered
- Maintain adherence to all policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and approved business objectives.
- Clarify and prioritize the needs of the Enrollee, answer questions and assist with the resolution of concerns
- Practice first call resolution (FCR) when possible; effectively relay information to Supervisor when FCR isn’t an option
- Operations and Procedure Manual. Remains informed by reviewing policy and procedure on a continuous basis.
- Support and sustain a positive environment that fosters team performance and individual excellence
- Provide exceptional service to the customer that meets or exceeds all contractual service level agreements
- Document notes and update records as appropriate
- Make outbound calls or send correspondence to appropriate parties as needed
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
- Remain accessible to achieve appropriate service levels and adhere to established schedule
Remote Work Requirements:
- Minimum download speed 20 mbps, preferred download speed 25 mbps
- Candidates must provide and meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training
- Must have a quite workspace conducive to focusing, providing professional and excellent customer service, taking calls and completing tasks without interruptions
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be able to commute to the office as needed
- Self-motivated and comfortable working from home, using a computer.
- Comfortable using e-mail and chat for real time communication.
- Must be an Illinois resident within 25-miles from Glen Ellyn IL.
- High-speed internet access required. Bandwidth must be able to support all responsibilities of this role including taking a high volume of calls.
- Minimum upload speed 5 mbps, preferred upload speed 10 mbps
To qualify as a Customer Service Representative, you’ll need:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong phone handling, analytical and active listening skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Able to operate a computer and standard telephone system
- Ability to type 30 WPM
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Reliable, dependable and punctual
- Must be an Illinois resident within 25-miles from Glen Ellyn IL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Motivated and self-directed
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Diligent follow up skills
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Exercise business and telephone etiquette
- Minimum of 3 years customer service and contact center experience required
