Job Description

Job Summary: Builds and maintains a strong relationship with customer, vendors, and suppliers. Acts as a champion with customer issues and concerns, is the CSC expert on product, inventory, and escalation issues.

Primary Responsibilities of the Job: Other customer critical tasks assigned as needed.

  • Researches escalated issues and communicates back with customer in a timely manner
  • Performs order entry and investigation into the SAP customer system of record
  • Serves as the main contact when a customer has a request.
  • Provides oversight for customers inventory movements
  • Manages critical delivery items (same-day / hot-rush) as defined by customer
  • Coordinates with customers to have new products entered into Rinchem’s systems of record
  • Provides assistance with customer audits
  • Initiates/receives telephone and email communication with customers
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Cross-trains on intradepartmental functions for their assigned responsibilities.
  • Serves as a single point of contact for assigned customer interactions and ad hoc troubleshooting that may arise from routine business operations
  • Participates in customer meetings
  • Escalates internal and external customer requests as needed or requested
  • Researches customer complaints and or escalations related to Rinchem’s NCR / CAPA documented problem solving process
  • Researches customer questions and inquiries and reports findings in an agreed upon, timely manner

Qualifications:

Highly Detailed Oriented and Self-Motivated

Experience & Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Data Entry/Typing
  • Computer Literate
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience
  • Some College Preferred

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to initiate and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to create accurate, meaningful and professional correspondence

Computer Skills:

Ability to learn system(s) of record
Accurate data entry
MS Office suite skills and experience (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint)
