SUMMARY: The Customer Logistics Associate is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service with our accounts and is a role model and problem solver, make informed decisions and represents the department wisely in order to achieve maximum results. This position interacts outwardly with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. This position also interacts inwardly with the sales team providing data about the status of orders and fulfillment proactively. Excellent communication abilities and data entry skills are essential for candidates.


Qualifications & Experience We Are Looking For:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees order fulfillment management including coordination with Operations team, proactive communication to the customer, order tracking and fulfillment reporting.
  • Resolves problems and issues regarding customer complaints, pricing, invoicing, and deliveries.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of order entry input into system via EDI or manual data entry.
  • Reviews and approves customer return authorization requests.
  • Responsible for pick up and delivered order processing.
  • Management of database records and updating FAQ’s for prompt and efficient responses.
  • Key participant in month end close and required to meet timely dead lines.
  • Develop and improves processes and systems in a dynamic sales and product environment.
  • Publishes and evaluates service related KPI’s and generates weekly reports.
  • Develop interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust.
  • Establishes and documents departmental policies and procedures.
  • Subject matter expert of order fullment systems and tools.
  • Data entry and required to troubleshoot customer problems.
  • Participates in preparation of customer account reviews, business plans and post-audits.

Qualifications

  • B.S. / B.A. preferably in either business or communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort using multiple systems to resolve issues and access data. Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • Work successfully in a team environment as well as independently
  • A proven ability to leverage ERP systems (Sage experience is a plus)
  • Proactive, results-driven
  • Strong, proven leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • 7+ years of proven success in CPG customer service or logistics management.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or professional license.
