Jefferson Utilities has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Customer Accounts Clerk in the City of Jefferson, WI. Jefferson Utilities serves more than 4,500 electric utility customers in the city of Jefferson, WI which is a quaint, growing city located in southeast WI with easy access to I-94.

If you enjoy working with the public in a fast-paced environment this is a perfect opportunity for you. This position is responsible for accepting customer payments via a variety of methods, answering phones, updating customer account information, scheduling appointments, disconnections, collections of past due accounts, and negotiating deferred payment agreements. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for details, sincere attitude of teamwork, ability to multi-task and has a strong commitment to community service.

Minimum requirements include: High School diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year of customer service, cashiering, telephone and Microsoft Office experience.
