Overview

The Custodian under supervision will perform quality custodial services.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum all carpet areas
• Empty trash and replace liner in all trash cans
• Perform high dusting monthly to include all window blinds, dust all areas as needed
• Accept and implement special projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Clean entrance ways windows (interior and exterior) and building windows, clean office glass as needed
• Replace all paper and soap products in restrooms, replace deodorizers and batteries as needed
• All other cleaning duties as assigned
• Clean restrooms, sweep, and wet mop all tile floors

Qualifications

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Education. High school/GED

Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; classified employees must pass a background check.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

• Individual must possess willingness to learn and successfully perform tasks related to custodian positions
• Must meet Ability One requirements

Rate of Pay: $16.20/hr.

Hours: Varies, Monday-Friday & Available Weekends (32) Hours
