Under Supervision Perform Quantity Building Custodial ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Custodian . Custodian DOH Las Cruces will perform tasks required to meet the daily Custodial schedule per contract. OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
A: Job Specific:
Clean restrooms, sweep, and wet mop all tile floors Clean entrance ways windows (interior and exterior) and building windows, clean office glass as needed. Empty trash and replace liner in all trash cans Perform high dusting monthly to include all window blinds, dust all areas as needed. Replace all paper and soap products in restrooms, replace deodorizers and batteries as needed. Vacuum all carpet areas. All other cleaning duties as assigned.
Accept and implement special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Company Specific: Adheres to dress code. Completes annual health, safety, and education requirements and demonstrate expected level of competency for each course completed. Reports to work on time as scheduled; stay awake and alert during work/training; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence. Attends all mandatory trainings and staff meetings. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner by establishing and maintaining professional relationships that foster growth and development. Complies with all organizational policies and procedures, to include all ethical business practices. Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the company. Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable. Consistently follows departmental and company Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures (OSHA, SDS information, HIPAA, and Workers Compensation). Respect for diversity (cultural, ethnicity, ideas, etc.) and demonstrate ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Must carry work phone while on duty at all times; respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely manner. This position may require the employee to operate either a company owned or personal vehicle on behalf of the company; the company owned vehicle should always remain clean. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language. Must meet Ability One requirements. Individual must possess willingness to learn and successfully perform tasks related to custodian positions BACKGROUND AND SECURITY CHECKS REQUIRED: Pay Range: $15.00 Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-2:00pm CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
