Educational Requirements And Experience

Education: High school diploma or GED, individual must possess willingness to learn and successfully perform tasks related to the custodian position.

• Must be able to pass Federal Background check and obtain security clearance.
• Individual must possess willingness to learn and successfully perform tasks related to the custodian position

Essential Functions

A: Job Specific:

• Perform high dusting monthly to include all window blinds
• Clean entrance ways windows (interior and exterior) and building windows
• Clean office glass as needed, dust all areas as needed
• Sweep and wet mop all tile floors
• Clean restrooms, replace all paper and soap products as needed
• Vacuum all carpeted areas, and all other cleaning duties as assigned
• Empty trash and replace liner in all trash cans

B. Company Specific:

• Completes annual health, safety, and education requirements and demonstrate expected level of competency for each course completed.
• Complies with all organizational policies and procedures, to include all ethical business practices.
• Consistently follows departmental and company Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures (OSHA, SDS information, HIPAA, and Workers Compensation).
• Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the company.
• Attends all mandatory trainings and staff meetings.
• This position may require the employee to operate either a company owned or personal vehicle on behalf of the company; the company owned vehicle should always remain clean.
• Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner by establishing and maintaining professional relationships that foster growth and development.
• Reports to work on time as scheduled; stay awake and alert during work/training; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence.
• Adheres to dress code.
• Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable.
• Respect for diversity (cultural, ethnicity, ideas, etc.) and demonstrate ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Must carry work phone while on duty at all times; respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails in a timely manner.

Location: HIGH ENERGY LASER SYSTEMS TEST FACILITY, WHITE SANDS

Rate of Pay: $16.20per hour.

Hours: 24hours per week--Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
