Position is responsible for planning and leading the job site work effort including coordination of materials, equipment, and crew members. Independent judgment is regularly utilized when there are no available policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities


  • Plan and lead the job site work effort including coordination of materials, equipment, and crew members
  • Functions as a working member of the crew, coordinates and leads the functions of the crew
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times

  • Reports daily production results and participate as a working crew member


Qualifications


Plan and lead the job site work effort including coordination of materials, equipment, and crew members. Reports daily production results and participate as a working crew member. Skills and knowledge are typically acquired through a High School education or equivalent and at least four (4) years of related work experience. A valid Commercial Driver's License (class B) or the ability to obtain a class B. Must pass a pre-employment physical. The ability to lift and carry items weighting 25 pounds or more is required. May require basic computer operation skill. Operates a variety of light and heavy construction equipment, i.e., loaders, back holes, graders, dump trucks, asphalt paver, asphalt planer, and roller, etc. Directs supervision of staff. Must be able to become a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) within one year of accepting the position and maintain the certification there after.
