About The Job

The Credit Risk Analyst V, Portfolio and Governance Oversight will possess a proven understanding of the assigned Line of Business (LOB) related to credit risks and the commensurate regulatory environment. The Credit Risk Analyst V, Portfolio and Governance Oversight will provide analysis and assessment of model and forecast portfolio performance and ensures the business operates within an acceptable risk appetite. The Credit Risk Analyst V, Portfolio and Governance Oversight along with direct report staff will complete independent analytical work and develop insightful presentations for senior management related to the direction of the LOB.

Essential Functions

• Engage tactical support for the assigned LOB to challenge strategy, improve portfolio reporting and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain Asset Quality reporting to inform Senior Management and Line of Business.
• Provide portfolio and origination updates to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain portfolio performance monitoring, including segmentation analysis, to inform Senior Management and Line of Business.
• Identify drivers of portfolio performance and maintain Key’s moderate risk profile.
• Review and identify impacts of micro and macro-economic trends as well as regulatory trends.
• Measure and evaluate credit risk in origination and portfolio trends.
• Develop and maintain product specific datasets to drive informed underwriting strategies, pricing, collections and other and business decisions.
• Work with LOB to develop products and changes to buy box to optimize risk / reward trade-off within risk tolerance.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services or other applicable experience required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with limited supervision
• Intermediate experience in SAS or similar coding application. Tableau and Google BigQuery/Google Data Studio experience a plus.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, decision making and ability to drive continuous improvement
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, build and manage relationships, and work in a dynamic, fast paced team environment

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products

Compensation And Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $130,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
