See Yourself as a Credit & Counterparty Risk Analyst

The Credit and Counterparty Analyst I is responsible for a function/business segment, directly producing and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and delivering actionable insight to business leaders and senior management. The incumbent will be a thought leader, with a broad understanding of the department's strategic objectives driving change and positive business outcomes.

  • Identify data needs to support functional business analysis requirements and work with analysts/IT to provide data in a usable format for producing reports and analyses.
  • Contribute to data management and data quality by pro-actively identifying and resolving gaps between business and system processes.
  • Proactively monitors operational performance to highlight trends and special cause variation to process owners. Design reporting related to new and existing business metrics and processes using analytic software (ex. SAS, SQL, Power Query, Tableau, MicroStrategy).
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
  • Analyze complex business processes to identify trends, locate influences, make recommendations, and provide business leaders across departments (Risk, IT, Finance, etc.) with actionable insight to meet strategic goals.

Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication of technical/analytical content
  • Applied knowledge of Statistics and Statistical Methods "Strong programming skills in Excel and other software (ex. SAS, SQL, etc.)
  • Design ad hoc analyses to address strategic or process challenges working in conjunction with process owners

Your Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Your Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience

Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies:

  • Ability to organize and document purpose and methods for complex analysis, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and contribute as a sole contributor or team member
  • Ability to prioritize competing/changing priorities and deadlines, while level setting deliverable expectations
  • Self-motivated and intellectually curious
