Credentialing/ Operations Specialist Jobs

As the Credentialing/Operations Specialist, you will be a part of Vatica’s top-performing Operations Team that drives key initiatives for our internal teams and provider clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be proactive in their approach and have a genuine drive to contribute towards the achievement of our company’s objectives. The Operations team are high performers who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Candidate must be located in Central or Eastern time zone.
Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and organized provider credentialing records in accordance with payer requirements and industry standards
• Work closely with Operations Coordinators to process Jira tickets submitted to the queues managed by the Operations Team
• Prioritize conflicting needs; manage expectations, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on assigned tasks
• Ensure that all necessary provider information, such as licensing, certifications, education, and training, is current and accurate in the credentialing system
• Monitor credentialing expirations and work proactively to ensure timely renewals and updates
• Review and analyze credentialing applications and supporting documents to determine provider eligibility and compliance with payer requirements
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the Operations Team
• Communicate with providers and payers to resolve credentialing-related issues, including missing documentation, incomplete applications, and discrepancies in information
• Manage the provider credentialing process with various insurance payers, including initial applications, re-credentialing, and ongoing updates
• Stay current on payer policies and regulations related to provider credentialing and ensure compliance with all applicable rules and requirements

Requirements

• Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security
• Previous experience in provider credentialing or related healthcare field
• Knowledge of payer credentialing requirements, regulations, and processes

The salary for a position is typically determined by multiple factors such as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $45,000 to $60,000 (annualized USD). However, this estimate represents just one aspect of our total compensation package offered.
