Job Description
The Garrett Group seeking a Counterintelligence Analyst - Senior to support the USSTRATCOM Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Division (J2X) by providing timely, responsive, thorough, accurate and insightful studies, analysis, assessments, and evaluations to support USSTRATCOM J2X mission and goals.


To Accomplish This Mission, CI Analysts Will Be Expected To Assess Threats To And If Possible Provide Courses Of Action To Mitigate Risks To


The counterintelligence analyst upon their background in all source analysis to assist in identify and mitigate Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) threats to US STRATCOM missions and equities. The CI Analyst will be expected to provide analytic support to response and proactive collection requirements, identifying potential threat vectors and provide the STRATCOM commander with a holistic and comprehensive picture of the threat by FIE to STRATCOM missions, capabilities, and equities.


  • Threats to supply chains pertaining to USSTRATCOM systems and acquisitions
  • Integrated missile defense (IMD)
  • Demonstrate specialized experience, or training on, human targeting (e.g., Joint CI & HUMINT Analysis & Targeting Course (JCHATC), or similar course)
  • Nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3)
  • Experience authoring complex search queries in IC reporting databases. Strongly desired and recommended training includes: PACE Essentials, or other IC equivalent analyst-qualifying coursework
  • Demonstrate strong intelligence research and analysis skills, including knowledge of, and ability to apply, IC analytic tradecraft and analytic writing styles, as well as a firm understanding of the utility and purpose of multiple production lines
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills suitable to clearly, concisely, and logically communicate analytic findings to a diverse set of clients
  • Demonstrate specialized experience, or training on, using publicly available information (PAI) and performing open source research in the furtherance of intelligence analysis and production (Demonstrated training shall consist of: Basic Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Course and Basic OSINT Tradecraft Training within the last 5 years)
  • Demonstrate specialized experience with, or training on, tools for analyzing geo-tagged data (Demonstration of the qualification shall consist of the following training: DIA Tools for Analyzing Geo-Tagged Data (DTAG-D) offered by the Joint Military Intelligence Training Center, or similar course.)
  • Cyberspace operations targeting nuclear capabilities
  • DoD nuclear operations


Education/Qualifications

  • Experience or training performing staff officer/action officer duties in a Joint Environment
  • Possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Highly desired skills include experience creating and modifying wiki-type websites (HTML), such as that used in Intellipedia
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience; with at least two (2) year of intelligence analysis experience within the last four (4) years
