As a Back-end Programmer/Analyst, you will leverage various software technologies to build user-friendly applications for our internal team members and customers. You will be part of a team that is passionate about learning and applying technologies to create innovative solutions. - The ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions
- A desire to understand our customers’ needs and build intuitive applications
- Experience with IBM RPG or similar server-side development language would be preferred but not required
- A passion for learning technologies and knowing when to use them
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Participates in design team meetings and team activities involving project design and project management as assigned.
- Develops, assists in the development and performs analysis of new programs and prepares technical documentation in accordance with detailed specifications provided as assigned. Prepares accurate estimates of development time.
- Maintains, modifies and performs analysis on existing computer applications in accordance with detailed specifications as assigned. Prepares accurate estimates of development time.
- Installs, reviews, tests and trains on new and existing computer applications to ensure accuracy, functionality, and meeting of customer expectations.
- Provides timely support to Help Desk in responding and resolving user issues.
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Environmental: N/A
- Physical: Reads small print; repetitive motion; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and sitting
- Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required
- 0 to 2 years computer application development experience desired
- Associates degree in Computer Programming Technology or equivalent required
