Job Description
Corporate Inspection Coordinator
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Corporate Inspection Coordinator to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at one of our company locations.
The role of the Inspection Coordinator for PBF Energy is to help drive corporate initiatives and provide technical assistance as part of the fixed equipment mechanical integrity programs.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain expertise in conventional non-destructive examination (NDE) methods and knowledgeable in evolving/specialty inspection techniques. Serve as PBF subject matter expert in NDE to assist PBF facilities with development of examination methods and analysis of results/data on high-priority and technically difficult equipment condition assessments.
  • Attend API meetings to advocate for PBF preferences and stay current on industry best practices.
  • Participate in circuit turnaround work scope reviews, readiness reviews, etc. to help drive consistency in inspection practices and ensure the sites are working towards effective cost justifications and planning. Perform qualitative RBI on case-by-case equipment scope reviews.
  • Work with the site reliability teams to ensure the alignment and maintenance of fixed equipment mechanical integrity programs.
  • Assist PBF facilities with Inspection database action plan development and migration.
  • Facilitate the sharing of resources across the sites.
  • Serve as the Lead for PBF Engineering Practices “Inspection” Section 15 to drive corporate level standardization. Lead and drive the Technical Committee to progress “revision 99” documents toward revision, validation, and adoption as approved Practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the PBF Inspection Best Practice network, including the scheduling of meetings, the building of agendas, the coordination of presentations from vendors, documentation, etc.
  • Help to develop corporate inspection initiatives to standardized key programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

  • API certifications required: API 510, API 570, API 653
  • A minimum ten years of experience in a refinery or chemical plant inspection, including experience as plant unit inspector.
CA Job Posting Requirement: The salary range for this position is $ 97,322.86 - $ 164,308.72. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.
