What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate project delegation to outside counsel based on necessary expertise, and confer and manage regularly on same.
  • Negotiate, prepare, analyze, and revise Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Vendor Agreements, Non-disclosure Agreements, and other agreements necessary for the conduct of Trace’s business related to the provision of information technology (IT) equipment and related services.
  • Handle a wide range of employment and human resources legal matters, including recruiting, on-boarding, performance issues and separations; prepare forms for various employment matters; review and amend various employment agreements.
  • Read and interpret existing contracts and provide guidance to internal business units
  • Prepare, analyze and revise corporate-level and system-wide contracts related to Sales (Infrastructure, Consulting, Resource Management and Training), Finance, Operations, Vendor Management and Marketing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Interests
  • Strong ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Minimum 3 years of large law firm experience in general corporate practice; commercial contracts and technology experience a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem-solve autonomously
  • B.A./B.S. and J.D. required
  • Strong written and oral communication with a wide variety of individuals, education levels, and sophistication.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word; PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent negotiating skills

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
Estimated Pay Range
$111,200—$133,700 USD
