Job Description

HYBRID ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive communications consultant with strong writing, editing and project management skills to support the Corporate Communications team on internal and external communications projects including Corporate PR, Social Media, Website and Internal communications. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, this consultant will work with other members of the team on corporate communications activities, as well as liaison with internal partners in IT, Human Resources, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Digital Communications and Brand Teams, and external agency partners and vendors.


Essential Functions

• Support corporate communications strategies and projects to amplify client’s position as a company dedicated to human health care and to provide a positive impact to the healthcare ecosystem for people in the U.S.

• Help drive employee engagement and productivity internally both online and through live activities at the site

• Write and proofread internal emails, website copy, social media, PR materials, consumer response emails, meeting minutes, intranet stories, bi-weekly newsletter, surveys, etc.

• Assist with developing event planning, meeting management, Town Hall Meetings, status updates, video projects, etc.

• Manage Website Monthly Updates which requires tracking monthly projects such as images, copy, legal requests, pricing lists, etc. Assist in putting them through Legal/Regulatory review and working with the Website team to ensure they are uploaded and correct.

• Coordinate reviews in Veeva system, including annotations and updates

• Support Team with leadership and business projects such as developing communications plans, decks, and collateral, as well as company-wide meeting preparation.

• Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines are high-quality, audience-specific, and follow brand guidelines


Requirements

• 5 – 7 years’ experience in similar role

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at the same time

• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative; adept at problem solving; exhibits tact and diplomacy

• Experienced in healthcare, pharmaceutical or agency business

• Excellent writing, editing, communications and project management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite

• Background in Veeva and/or another Legal/Regulatory content review
