Coordinator, Social Media At Sphere

Who are we hiring?

Reporting to the Director of Digital and Social Content Strategy, the Coordinator, Social Strategy will work to produce and publish content through Sphere’s owned and operated channels with an emphasis on mobile and emerging platforms. Duties will include community management, copywriting, content creation and publishing as it pertains to Sphere’s entertainment products, including original attractions, musical residencies and other marquee events. This individual is a TikTok and Instagram power user with experience programming for mobile and emerging platforms. The abilities to multitask and optimize for social channels are key in this performance-focused and dynamic role. The ideal candidate welcomes the challenge of programming for a social and digital audience receptive to Sphere’s trademark innovation.

What will you do?

• Engage with Sphere’s online community of followers, keeping a finger on the pulse of the organization’s social ecosystem
• Execute the short- and long-term social strategy across Sphere’s O&O social properties, ensuring the voice, tone and content mix is aligned with vision, core values and messaging of Sphere
• Support day-to-day content management and maintain overall editorial and brand integrity across Sphere’s channels, with an emphasis on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
• Research, identify and deliver on content ideas based on current events, trends, and topics relevant to Sphere’s mission and target audience
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring Sphere’s social and digital properties stay ahead of the curve with best-in-class content and strategy
• Moderate and iterate channel strategy based on the tracking of key KPI metrics and data analytics

What do you need to succeed?

• Commitment to collaboration, critical thinking and excellent visual and written communication skills
• 2+ years of producing social content for mobile and emerging platforms with a preferred emphasis on content creation
• Avid reader and consumer of social media content and trends among Gen Z
• A natural curiosity to measure, learn and iterate constantly
• Experience succeeding in a fast-paced, dynamic organization while working with stakeholders across multiple departments
• Ability to travel to Vegas as needed
• Track record of delivering timely, relevant content at a high level to a wide audience
• Bachelor’s degree
