Job Description
  • Knowledge of IRS, DOL, FLSA, and Publication 15 requirements related to payroll required.
  • Leads by example.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Understands priorities and what is most important to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinates bi-weekly and year-end payroll processes in an accurate and timely manner; responds to payroll and benefit inquiries of employees and supervisors; researches and resolves problem situations; prepares audit work papers, State and Federal payroll reports and other general accounting duties as assigned.
  • Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of software to include Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient report writing capabilities preferred.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll tax laws required.
  • DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with payroll processing that includes exposure to benefits and 403(b) required.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree (A.A) in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Three to five years of payroll experience utilizing Kronos & ADP, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
