- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Understands priorities and what is most important to both internal and external customers.
- Coordinates bi-weekly and year-end payroll processes in an accurate and timely manner; responds to payroll and benefit inquiries of employees and supervisors; researches and resolves problem situations; prepares audit work papers, State and Federal payroll reports and other general accounting duties as assigned.
- Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of software to include Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient report writing capabilities preferred.
- Experience with multi-state payroll tax laws required.
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with payroll processing that includes exposure to benefits and 403(b) required.
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree (A.A) in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred. Three to five years of payroll experience utilizing Kronos & ADP, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
