Opportunity overview
In this position, the Government Accounting Co-op student will be responsible for assisting the Government Accounting Department in preparing Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP), responding to Government audit requests, and supporting special projects, as needed. This position will be located at our Aerospace Group headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Throughout the assignment, participants will be provided with meaningful projects where individual efforts and contributions are critical. Participants will receive multiple opportunities for formal training, networking, and assignment coaching in addition to receiving ongoing formal feedback to evaluate personal progress and identify development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with concentration in accounting or finance equivalent experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Co-Ops are expected to work 20-30 hours per week depending on class schedule. Position will be flexible to work around breaks, weekly school schedule, etc. Preferred in office days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Assignment will run through December 2023
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please do not round)
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Irvine, CA

The expected salary range for this role is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
