We are looking to build a team of individuals to continue our success in an award winning neighborhood restaurant in Henderson. We are an upscale Italian steakhouse who uses only the finest ingredients to prepare our fresh pastas, sauces, and pizzas in our scratch kitchen. Above all, we respect our ingredients as well as our team. We are a small, tight knit group of creative, experienced culinary professionals. Candidates must be passionate, trustworthy, dependable, and maintain our vision while meeting guest expectations at all times.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Proper customer service while working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Maintain and inspect station to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
• Ability to read, measure, and execute standard recipes and follow instruction in English.
• Properly cook/test foods to ensure proper cooking to guest request.
• Daily and seasonal specials.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, and be able to walk, stand, bend and reach as the job requires.
• Maintain positive attitude
• Able to communicate with management and hourly employees.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation procedures.

• Cooking/Restaurant Experience: 2 years in a similar position in an upscale, high volume environment
• Working knowledge of knives, knife skills, and standard kitchen equipment.
• Properly operate, utilize and maintain a wide range of kitchen tools and machinery.
• Attention to detail.
PAY: Strip Competitive Salary. Based on Experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Health Card- Local SNHD. Serve Safe is a bonus.
