Summary: This is a great opportunity to join the Otis Americas Sales and Marketing team as a Conversion Sales Rep. The successful candidate will be a natural closer and able to manage accounts efficiently and effectively.
What you’ll do:
  • Make effective sales presentations over the phone and through video conferencing.
  • Selling of maintenance contracts through good customer service, value added benefits and on factors other than solely price
  • Escalate service issues through the organization to effectively resolve any problems and customer concerns.
  • Selling service and maintenance contracts at required levels to achieve monthly quota
  • Possess, or be able to learn, broad product knowledge of all elevator/escalator lines
  • Understand service contracts in broad terms
  • Be able to work with and develop relationships within the organization in order to achieve results.
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by management
You should have:
  • Excellent typing and communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to sell on factors other than price and a proven track record of sales success
  • Organizational skills to ensure timely follow-up and closure
  • Patience, persistence, and persuasiveness
Education / Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, business, or related field
  • Prior sales experience is strongly preferred
