Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial insights and analysis for the development and evaluation of business plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize financial systems and tools, streamline processes, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, pricing strategies, and business performance improvement projects.
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluate investment opportunities, including capital expenditures, business expansions, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting teams, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of financial management within the manufacturing firm, including financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and analysis.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to support decision-making and drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes that may impact the manufacturing firm's financial operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies within the financial function.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation, to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies, while maintaining accurate and timely financial records and statements.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, and provide variance analysis and explanations to management.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain strong internal controls.
