KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing, private equity backed company who is seeking an Interim Controller to help assist with financial reporting, month end close, and budget reporting. This position is hybrid flexible from Manchester. Ideally looking for a hands on Controller who is able to step in and be involved with daily accounting activities.

The responsibilities for the Interim Controller will include but will not be limited to:

• Other ad hoc accounting and reporting needs as needed
• Month end close duties: Review month end financial statements for accuracy, report financials to CFO
• Budget maintenance: Review current operating budget against actuals, report variances and findings to senior management team

The ideal candidate for the Interim Controller should have experience that meets the following requirements:

• Strong month end and financial reporting is required
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn new ERP systems in a timely manner
