Controller Jobs

Our client is a leading designer and supplier of custom roll, shaft and material handling solutions for the web converting industry.

Reporting to the corporate CFO, this position has responsibility for our client's general accounting functions and processes, and the position has one direct report.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual budget
• Generate monthly reports and ad-hoc reporting
• Monthly and annual close of financial systems
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls
• Daily activities include billing, job costing, A/P, A/R, cash application
• Supervise Staff Accountant
• Support annual audit with thorough account analyses and schedules as required
• Support corporate HR manager and corporate finance staff.
• Establish and oversee inventory cycle count program

Must-Haves

• Experience with ERP system upgrade
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proactive investigation and problem resolution skills
• Previous experience with developing standard costs and reporting on a standard costing system.
• Highly organized, ability to manage multiple/changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mindset of a change agent, continuous improvement.
• BS degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years as Controller in a manufacturing job cost environment
