Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to join their team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Accounting Department and working closely with all departments throughout the organization to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Your primary responsibilities will include general ledger management, month-end closing process, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest level of dependability and integrity
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to provide continually improved reporting
  • Lead and develop the Accounting Team
  • Provide hands-on experience working in an ERP/MRP environment
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience and Attributes
  • BS degree in accounting is preferred, but alternative degrees will be considered if supported by relevant work experience.
  • Hands-on experience working in an ERP/MRP environment and generally very computer literate.
  • Highly engaged with a supportive and detail-oriented work style.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • A genuine desire to learn and commitment to continuously improve yourself, the Accounting Team, and the Company.
  • Five (5) plus years of progressive accounting and management experience with at least 3 years of management oversight of accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of product costing.
