Job Description


Job title: Controller


Company: CPS Group – NEHP Inc.


Location: Colchester, VT (in-person)


NEHP is part of the CPS Group family of manufacturing and design companies that provides innovative product solutions. We specialize in the design and off-site construction of process piping systems for semiconductor fabrication facilities. As the chip production industry expands in the United States at a record-breaking pace, our “productivity by design” skillset alleviates the skilled labor shortage, making us a key part of the client’s project team. We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team.


The Controller will be responsible for handling all aspects of finance and accounting. As a member of the management team, this person will be interacting with the department managers throughout the business and helping drive business initiatives and representing finance in all business decision making.


What you’ll be doing –


  • Prepare reports and summaries for managers and perform project cost analysis, including: margin analysis report, PTD margin, adjusted margin, sold as margin reports, DL utilization reports, and balance sheet ration analysis
  • Oversee accounting transactions to reflect revenue recognition and income according to IFRS
  • Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control staff to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory
  • Support financial audits, bank audits, and prepare sales and use and other tax related filings
  • Oversee ERP system
  • Prepare detailed annual P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and capital spending budgets plus monthly financial forecast updates
  • Supervise full-time employees on the finance team
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collections; establish and manage customer credit limits
  • Prepare timely and accurate month-end financial statements, including account analysis

What you’ll need to succeed –


  • Must have prior accounting in a manufacturing environment with POC revenue recognition
  • Two-year business degree and 4+ years accounting experience
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with A/R, A/P, general accounting, and strong knowledge of accounting principles
