Our client is a growing financial services firm that services the Mid-Atlantic markets. They are currently seeking a Controller to join their accounting team in Fairfax County.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10+ years' experience in an accounting leadership capacity and must have financial services industry experience. Strong financial reporting skills required, must have experience working with publicly traded companies. The Controller’s daily tasks consist of reviewing general ledger, daily exception reporting, review of previous day transactions, and monitoring wire settlement. The Controller’s weekly duties are reviewing accounts payable processing, reviewing fixed assets processing, review of prepaid processing, and monitoring of investments. Bachelor's required, active CPA is a plus.
