CONTRACT ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Pay Range: The pay range for this Washington-based role is $28-40/hour. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Is this You:

MicroVision currently has an opportunity in our Process Engineering Department for an experienced Contract Technician responsible for the assembly and testing of MicroVision products. The Technician will participate in the assembly of automotive lidar products as well as support engineers with product failure analysis and repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming components for quality and conformance to print
• Assemble lidar products on an engineering prototype line
• Maintain and operate assembly fixtures

Required skills:

• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Experience reading 2D part and assembly drawings
• Hands-on experience with opto-mechanical components and assembly processes
• Basic experience using adhesives (UV cure, thermal cure, mixing and dispensing)
• Experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

Required Experience:

• 2+ years relevant experience in opto-mechanical product assembly

You must live and reside within a commuting distance from MicroVision's headquarters in Redmond, WA.
