Job Description

Jackson + Coker is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dedicated team. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring effective alignment across departments and project groups. This position requires a thorough understanding of legal and contracting terminology, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to maintain excellent relationships with clients.


Additional Details:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on award implementation, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Support proposal management activities, participating in the development of compelling proposals for potential clients.
  • Administer contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and closeout.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation, utilizing electronic systems and databases.
  • Conduct meetings with leadership to address legal and business aspects of contracts, ensuring mutual understanding and satisfaction.
  • Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to contract management.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts adhere to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, contributing to successful business outcomes by balancing legal considerations and strategic goals.
  • Foster and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as a point of contact to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Draft, review, and modify various contracts and modifications in collaboration with clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and assess contract risks to ensure that contracts are consistent with established guidelines, policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Capable of handling confidential information professionally and ethically.
  • Proficient understanding of legal and contracting terminology, with the ability to interpret and apply complex contract language.
  • Paralegal experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Strong team player with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Contract administration/management experience required.
  • Previous experience with federal contract regulations and related laws preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with the ability to adapt to new software tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
  • Experience with government healthcare contracts preferred but not required.
