Job Description

This position is pivotal to the long-term success of the division due to its support of current and prospective customer relationships. Remote work is an option. Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

  • Work closely with account management, customer service, IT, legal/compliance, lab management, human resources, risk management and scientific team leaders within division in the development and writing of competitive bid/RFP proposals.

  • Coordinate legal approval of all new and renewed contacts, amendments, addenda, statements of work, Bid/RFP releases and responses, consulting agreements, confidentiality agreements, pricing letters, quotes, and leases within the DNA Identification Testing Division according to Contract Review Policy.

  • Identify new/existing client opportunities via various state and government websites.

  • Ensure all DNA Identification contracts submitted for review have been approved by appropriate levels of senior management, have received financial approval, and all business issues and agreed upon pricing are addressed within the document.

  • Upon receipt of legal review edits from LabCorp Attorney, communicate new language with clients and submit any subsequent edits from clients back to legal.

  • Track all contract documents submitted via Contraxx and those being reviewed within DNA Identification. Maintain electronic files of all DNA Identification agreements.

  • Assist Commercial Business Director and leadership teams with negotiation of various client contracts and attend client meetings as needed.

Requirements:

License/Certification/ Education: B.A./B.S. Degree preferred in related field w/5-7 years of experience.

Strongly Preferred: experience writing competitive Bid/RFP responses, marketing background, legal experience, project management, strategic thinker, team player, leadership experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for providing world class customer service.
