Job Details


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about process optimization and enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities


  • Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and identify areas for further optimization.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with plant personnel to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across various departments and functions within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that address identified issues and drive process improvements.
  • Utilize AutoCAD or similar software to design and optimize automated assembly lines and other manufacturing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies and tools, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them within the organization.
  • Apply the kaizen method to promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage employees at all levels to contribute ideas and suggestions for process optimization.
  • Conduct process analysis and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Lean manufacturing principles and tools, such as 5S, to foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Qualifications


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with plant personnel.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar software for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a continuous improvement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing principles and tools, including the Kaizen method, 5S, and process analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
