- Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and identify areas for further optimization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with plant personnel to ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects across various departments and functions within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that address identified issues and drive process improvements.
- Utilize AutoCAD or similar software to design and optimize automated assembly lines and other manufacturing processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies and tools, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them within the organization.
- Apply the kaizen method to promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage employees at all levels to contribute ideas and suggestions for process optimization.
- Conduct process analysis and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste in manufacturing processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Lean manufacturing principles and tools, such as 5S, to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with plant personnel.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar software for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing continuous improvement projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a continuous improvement role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing principles and tools, including the Kaizen method, 5S, and process analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
