Content Writer

Be part of a worldwide Business Development and Marketing team! Internal and external communication is an important part of our business development, marketing and sales strategy, as well as our company culture. In the role of Content Writer, you will source and create a library of compelling client and internal success stories, blogs and other written assets that contribute to our goals of lead generation, thought leadership and employee recognition.

In this role, you will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Global Marketing, and work with multiple teams within business development and marketing, digital engineering, data and sales organizations in North America and Europe. You will also engage with our HR and legal teams, select clients, business partners and external vendors, as needed to gather information and obtain approvals to complete content. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, collaborative, creative, results-oriented, well-organized, inquisitive, able to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand information and passionate about telling a story.

Success in this role is demonstrated through detailed interviews, organized and effective storytelling, adherence to deadlines, delivery of factually accurate information and demonstrating team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify relevant content:

• Work with Marketing and Sales teams to align customer stories, blogs and white papers with key messages and campaign priorities

Conduct research and interviews:

• Interview Prolifics employees and contract staff in Europe, India and North America to collect factual information and develop narrative
• Interview external sources including client representatives when approved and as necessary to develop narrative
• Work within Salesforce CRM to source information related to specific accounts and/or industries

Write clear, accurate, compelling copy in alignment with Prolifics brand guidelines and other digital content strategy:

• Ensure written content adheres to client and partner permissions
• Use SEO principles where possible to maximize copy reach
• Apply Prolifics brand voice as appropriate when creating customer stories and other content
• Confirm all information presented is factual and current

Drive creative content:

• Participate in creative sessions and bring forward ideas to enhance content, drive leads and support employer brand.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform in a remote work environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word
• Preferred but not required: Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
• Demonstrated portfolio from professional publications and/or business content sites
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment. That means we work hard and play hard, too
• Preferred but not required: Understanding of SEO concepts
• Proficiency with AP Style guidelines
• BA/BS degree and 5+ years of related experience
