Content Writer, Gph Dean's Office

Position Summary: Write and edit copy for the Dean’s book prospectus, publications, and promotional materials. Provide copy that adheres to school guidelines for style and consistency while maintaining the highest level of content and grammatical accuracy. Work within the Dean’s Office to coordinate operations, including but not limited to planning, developing, and implementing new and existing programs and initiatives. Administer and coordinate Dean’s Office special projects and facilitate school-wide initiatives created by the Dean’s Office. This is a 1-year fixed-term position. Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Concentration or course work in public health, business or public administration, higher education, journalism, communications, or related field.

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Public Health, Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing

Required Experience:
1+ years writing marketing materials or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
Experience writing for a university or non-profit organization.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to produce written materials within deadlines; solid command of grammar and editing skills; knowledge of word processing software.
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,392.00 to USD $82,368.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
