Content Moderator (Trust & Safety Agent)

Location: Remote Work but must be in Washington, Texas, or North Carolina

Benefits: 2 weeks of PTO annually

Description:

Safety Agents are dedicated to the defense of our user base against bad actors. They will work with content across a multitude of social and gaming platforms. The agent will be an expert on all policies across our ecosystem and will be equipped to make important decisions in keeping our community safe.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of social media content creation and the impacts it can have once public
• Ability to be objective instead of subjective
• At least 1 year of professional Content Moderation or Trust and Safety experience
• Excitement about and knowledge of popular video gaming communities and culture
• Capable of being emotionally resilient
• Critical thinking and investigative skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a team
• Ability to handle large amounts of user-generated content
• Ability to adapt to on-the-fly situations and process changes
• Able to deal with sensitive situations and malicious content online (text, images, video)
• Not afraid to ask for a 2nd opinion or help a teammate with a decision; does not work in a silo
• Can recognize common internet slang and memes and able to keep up with what is popular

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, SQL
• Has a successful wellness routine
