JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Digital Content Editor to join the team of a multinational information and analytics company. The Digital Content Editor will work with the Editorial Team to copyedit Clinical Overviews and coordinate style alignment for Point of Care content. Responsible for ensuring the editorial integrity of the Clinical Overviews and related content, including editorial policies and style guides, and managing content formats and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Copyedit content to ensure compliance with editorial policies and style guidelines

Review content for organization and clarity and provide feedback as necessary to Medical Editors and Editor-in-Chief

Ensure quality content and meet content delivery deadlines as set by editorial team

Maintain content of style guide, templates, and editorial policies

Propose enhancements of existing development processes to continuously improve content quality and timeliness and to meet customer needs

Attend and participate in monthly Digital Content Editorial team meetings to discuss editing challenges, best practices, workflow, and style changes Work with Image and Permission coordinators to review, correct, and approve images for Clinical Overviews

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree

At least 5 years of editorial experience and 3 years of copyediting experience in medical publishing

Excellent communication, management, organizational, and editorial skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of and experience in communication with clinicians/health care professionals.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Looking for someone who is willing to work as a team player to resolve editing and workflow challenges; is well organized, detail oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines and high-quality standards.

Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

TOP 3 must-have skills: (Measurable skills, technologies, etc.) Ability to copyedit high-level medical content; excellent verbal and written communication skills; time management.
